Wheel Throwing Workshop

A two hour, one off, small group wheel throwing class where you'll be given the freedom to create whatever you wish. Bring along some inspo, or we can discuss your ideas before we get going.

We will go through the steps from designing your idea, preparing the clay to forming and finishing the pot on the wheel. 

This is a beginner friendly class which will introduce to you the skills and techniques required to throw clay on a potter's wheel. I will guide your through designing your idea, preparing the clay, centring and shaping the clay on the wheel.

All materials will be provided, including clay, shaping tools and bisque firing. Your workshop includes firing of two pieces and you are welcome to purchase extra clay on the day! 

After your class, your pieces will be finished, fired & glazed (and food safe). You'll be able to pick them up from the studio a calendar month after the class, of if required, I can post your pieces out to you at your own cost.
